Visiting Assistant Professor of Library Services - Cataloging & Metadata Librarian

Library and Academic Resources Center--Front Entrance

As a member of the Information Management Department, this full time position ensures that all information resources including print, audiovisual, and digital resources are properly indexed, organized, and cataloged in the library’s catalog and digital repository. Oversees day to day operations of the cataloging department including the description, organization, cataloging, and maintenance of monographs, serials, government documents, electronic resources, and audiovisual collections. The Cataloging & Metadata Librarian provides reference services (including some nights and weekends), acts as liaison to various academic departments, teaches library instruction classes, and serves on university boards and committees.
