Purchase and Maintenance of Equipment: As much as is appropriate, new equipment proposals will adhere to campus network specifications. As per the Library Technology Plan, every effort will be made to upgrade 1/3 of the library computers each year. All hardware ordered will comply with Colorado State University-Pueblo's network standards.
Electronic Resources: In accordance with the Library's electronic resources collection development policy, electronic databases, journals, trials, and other materials are added to Colorado State University-Pueblo's collection. In conjunction with the Reference, Government Documents, Collection Development, and Periodicals Librarians, the Access Services Librarian will assist in obtaining trial access to and/or implementation of newly acquired databases by consulting with vendors and supplying necessary information. The Access Services Librarian will contact vendors upon discovering any problems connecting to or internal to the database and troubleshoots as needed to try to solve the problem.
