Welcome to AskColoradoHorizontal Bar

AskColorado is a free online information service provided by Colorado libraries. Real people in real time answer your questions, help you find information, or point you in the right direction to get what you need. Whether you need the names of Colorado's Fourteeners, an article from last week's newspaper, a hint on how to start your homework, directions to Calgary, or help on remembering the star of that Broadway show you saw in 1954, AskColorado can help.

When is the service offered?
AskColorado is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - anytime that you're on the Internet - though we do observe some major holidays.

Who can use AskColorado?
All Colorado residents and students can use AskColorado.

Who provides the service?
The service is provided by library staff from public, academic, and special libraries throughout Colorado. Our staff have the training and expertise to answer questions, find information, and assist in basic research.

Staffing:
At any time, 1-3 library staff members are working to assist you. We recommend that school classes work together to ask one question at a time.

AskColorado (TM) is made possible with funds provided by the Colorado State Library under the Library Services Technology Act (LSTA) in conjunction with funds and staffing from local libraries in Colorado.
